🚀 Your Role at Apilia

We’re looking for someone like you to join us in building data-driven solutions for our banking client.

💰 Compensation & Location

Location: Remote
Rate: 100–120 PLN/h + VAT (B2B contract)

In this role, you will:

Develop end-to-end ETL processes using Spark/Scala: transferring data from/to the data lake, performing validations, applying business logic, etc.
Use Scrum methodology as part of a high-performance development team.
Document your solutions using tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM.
Certify your delivery quality by designing and executing relevant tests.
Work side-by-side with a technical specialist to enhance architecture and implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to integrate data from various sources.
Develop basic web applications using React and NodeJS.
Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.

🎯 What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2+ years of experience in data/software engineering (preferably in banking).
Backend development experience with Big Data technologies.
Experience with React and NodeJS.
Agile mindset and experience with Scrum methodology.
Familiarity with CI tools (Git, GitHub, Jenkins).
Knowledge of SQL databases.
Proficient in English (at least B2+ level).

Preferred Qualifications:

Jenkins orchestration; GitHub Actions experience is a plus.
Scala or Python – especially combined with Apache Spark.
Experience with Qlik.
Bash scripting skills.
Familiarity with Control-M, AirFlow.
Understanding of software development life cycle (HP ALM, etc.).
Basics of cybersecurity and quality tools (e.g., Sonar).
Knowledge of cloud platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, S3, Azure, AWS, EMR, DataBricks.
SOA Architecture experience.
Strong analytical skills.
